Chocolate styling

Saturday, 21 April 2012

I don't have any internet in my apartment yet so these updates will come on one day.

Cocoa powder can be used as both dry shampoo and as volume powder. I washed the hair yesterday so i wanted to give it a quick fresh up before work. It worked well as a volume powder but not as well as dry shampoo. Why it didn't work as a dry shampoo was that the powder has a light brown colour that doesn’t work so well with my hair, so i didn't put it where it was visible. So I would not advice blonds to use it... maybe vanilla powder woks, who knows? And my hair wasn't greasy to start with so i had noting to compare to. But I'm going to give it a fair chance another day.
Anyhow, it worked quite well as a volume powder. I put it in like this:
Take cocoa powder on your fingertips and divide it part by part. Ruffle it up a bit.

There is one good/bad thing about this. Your hair will sell a lot like chocolate! Nobody comment it all day, but i smelled it all the time. Maybe I just got it in my nose? To 'even the smell out I put perfume in it, which just happened to be vanilla scent. So I walked around smelling like a bakery. And I actually grew to like it over the day.
